Why is this? I've checked the jumper settings and it used to work in a previous install so I dont think that the CD-RW is incompatible. I have had a change of motherboards though so I am thinking that something in the motherboard might be the problem. I'm now using an ASUS Socket A No-Raid motherboard. Also when I turn the secondary master (CD-RW) off in BIOS the installation doesn't hang. Hope you can help as I'm quite confused.
