Tried to unload/load linux and do it again, same problem. So maybe it isn't compat being NFS mounted. I still haven't heard if I can take a linux.ko from a 5.5 system (I doubt I can). Maybe time to upgrade one of the 3 servers to 5.5? Today I upgraded to 5.5-STABLE. It works now....... GO FIGURE! So, now, next step is let it "settle in" a while and then see if I go back to using the NFS mounted linux_base-fc-4 will it work too? My box runs FreeBSD-6.1-R amd64 and l need to set this printer on. I've heard of downloading linux_base-fc4 but FreeBSD-6.1-R is short of such port and I see I will have to upgrade the system. Is it a correct procedure? I've heard of rpm2cpio application but ...will it be able to extract the files and mount them? I just tried the combination of linux_dri, fc7 and skype and no more core dumps :) The problem seems to be when nvidia-driver is used instead of linux_dri. What's the next step? I think that updating the nvidia-driver to support "newer" linuxulator is important thing to do. What's the next step? Update the skype port to always use > linux_dri? Check the games/linux-nwnclient Makefile. When the nvidia-driver is used, it also requires the graphics/linux-libGLU port.
