I'm wondering if anyone has any success stories using SB16 SCSI2 adapter for attaching CDROMs. They can be had (without box, but with software & docs) for <$100 at local computer shows. Is this a valid alternative to buying a full blown SCSI host adapter? Also, how is this thing configured in the kernel?
