Linux (Voxware) detects the card as a MAD16 soundcard. The question now is: How do I configure FreeBSD for it? Using the 'standard' soundriver from -stable (based on Voxware 3.0) I tried with: device mss0 at isa? port 0x530 irq 7 drq 3 vector adintr options "OPTI_MAD16_PORT" but the card is not being detected. I fetched Amancio Hasty's sounddriver (based on Voxware 3.5-alpha7-951119) but don't know how to configure for a MAD16 now. Any hints, clues, help? I am using a GUS PNP Pro for audio and everything works fine. However, I do not currently have a camera or video capture board. I would now like to add video send capability, and am preparing to buy a camera and video capture board. I am running FreeBSD 2.1 on 486 and pentium PCs. Some machines have only an IDE bus interfaces, and some have both PCI and IDE interfaces. Any recommendations on which camera and video capture board would be best will be greatly appreciated.
