If there was an option for tar, like --no-preserve-owner in GNU tar, the task of having one owner for extracted files would be feasible. The method for files' extraction is defined in bsd.port.mk, and can be changed for the whole distribution when tar acquires such fuctionality. -- * Suavek Zak (Altkom UNIX Group) #include * email: S.Zak@altkom.com voice: +48 (0) 22 674 66 79 * PGP v2.6: 2048/9A7CBF71, finger://zaks@prioris.im.pw.edu.pl To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-security" in the body of the message
