Of course, a lot depends on the abilities of your host's X server (or equiv if you're running a [yuck] Windows host). > > Also are the message about cfb32ScreenInit, cfb32CopyPlane, > cfb16ScreenInit, & cfb16CopyPlane being unresolved due to something I > need to define when building xf4? > I didn't see those, so I don't know. I ran the X server from the ports, FWIW. By the way, for those interested, I did find what I conclude to be a bug in this driver regarding the XF86VideoModeExtension. One would expect that when this extension requests a change in the screen resolution that the window (in the host) would simply resize itself. This does not appear to happen. The guest gets an indication that the resize took place, but nothing happens in the host. This can be demonstrated by full-sizing a program that uses SDL, for example. ------=_2:w5GUEEM1)5SV+UDmb7i6oGMi4hS25ZBs7ZmvF(6F-4=7AHclzgq5+GXceY Content-Type: application/octet-stream;name="" Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="" Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64 DQo= ------=_2:w5GUEEM1)5SV+UDmb7i6oGMi4hS25ZBs7ZmvF(6F-4=7AHclzgq5+GXceY-- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-emulation" in the body of the message From owner-freebsd-emulation Wed Apr 18 6:24:17 2001 Delivered-To: freebsd-emulation@freebsd.org Received: from mobile.hub.org (mobile.acadiau.ca [131.162.137.70]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id EDEF237B424 for ; Wed, 18 Apr 2001 06:24:14 -0700 (PDT) (envelope-from scrappy@hub.org) Received: from localhost (scrappy@localhost) by mobile.hub.org (8.11.1/8.11.1) with ESMTP id f3IDO8040266 for ; Wed, 18 Apr 2001 10:24:09 -0300 (ADT) (envelope-from scrappy@hub.org) X-Authentication-Warning: mobile.hub.org: scrappy owned process doing -bs Date: Wed, 18 Apr 2001 10:24:08 -0300 (ADT) From: The Hermit Hacker To: Subject: linux emulation in a jail'd environment?
