I know that souinds vaygue...Let me try again...durring the past few months I have come accross issues where a user has been compromised via some other service like kazaa, or msn...which I really don't want on my LAN but mgmt has other ideas... In any event, it would be nice to have a rule option to define a specific logfac/file for a certain rule or group of rules. And of course this begs the question of would such a rule impeade performance? -- Cheers, Mikel King Optimized Computer Solutions, INC 39 West Fourteenth Street Second Floor New York, NY 10011 http://www.ocsny.com +------------------------------------------+ You may like them.
