I'm mainly looking for a senior sysadmin or architectural level position; systems development/tuning on the side is OK. I have extensive Solaris and Linux experience as well. I prefer the western US as a location -- Washington, Oregon, northern California, Colorado, etc., but are open on location, considering the current job climate. If you have job postings or think you have something, feel free to point me to your posting board, or send email. Or hey, post them here :) -- Doug White | FreeBSD: The Power to Serve dwhite@gumbysoft.com | www.FreeBSD.org From owner-freebsd-jobs@FreeBSD.ORG Wed Apr 16 20:02:16 2003 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-jobs@freebsd.org Received: by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix, from userid 931) id A067637B401; Wed, 16 Apr 2003 20:02:16 -0700 (PDT) Date: Wed, 16 Apr 2003 22:02:16 -0500 From: Juli Mallett To: freebsd-jobs@FreeBSD.org Message-ID: <20030416220216.A58543@FreeBSD.org> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Disposition: inline User-Agent: Mutt/1.2.5.1i Organisation: The FreeBSD Project X-Alternate-Addresses: , , , , X-Towel: Yes X-Negacore: Yes X-Title: Code Maven X-Authentication-Warning: localhost: juli pwned teh intarweb Subject: SysAdmin/Programmer Seeking Work. Proficient in FreeBSD, as well as OpenBSD, NetBSD and IRIX, and competent with other UNIX and UNIX-like systems, such as Solaris and GNU/Linux. Programming experience in userland, UNIX systems and embedded environments. Moderate experience in device drivers and low-level operating systems on i386, SPARC and MIPS. Userland experience includes UNIX utility programming to compilers and debuggers. Administrative experience covers tuning, extensive Apache configuration, CGI, web and security. Strong points in security are system and network hardening for a given environment. I'm a quick learner, and open to entry-level positions if need be. Resume, additional skills and/or references available on request. Open to relocation, within reason. Inquiries or open listings welcome. Thanks, juli.
