Your attachment didn't make it through. You should consider posting such things to websites since the mailing list can be kind of flaky when it comes to MIME types. That said, since the problem is with boehm, you should check to make sure you've built that port with default options. If it still fails after that, contact the boehm maintainer. What is the current status of gnomepilot concerning this problem? Can I expect to get it working on FreeBSD 5.4-RELEASE with the ucom+uvisor drivers or do we simply have to wait for next version? Would buying a serial cradle help? I'd really appreciate your feedback, since i definitely am willing to go on trying if i only know that success ***is*** possible... Thanks, Sven P.S.: Yes, everything has been cvsup'ed before installation and the device is correctly identified as /dev/ucom0. I did not save original versions to construct diffs from, hopefully this is a trifle for you. I assume that KRB5_HOME is set when Heimdal is in use normally. If not, greater care will need to be taken. Whatever the case, the current firefox default build is somewhat comedic. It intentionally implies a GSSAPI configuration setting, but the only way mozilla/firefox would make use of this is if you also enabled the negotiateauth extension. The comedy is in doing one but not the other. --=20 David W. Hankins "If you don't do it right the first time, Software Engineer you'll just have to do it again." Again the build fails, this time with the error /libexec/ld-elf.so.1: Shared object "libz.so.4" not found, required by "libbonoboui-2.so.0" (notice it's libz.so.4 as opposed to libz.so.3 before) As a last step I deinstalled evolution (i.e. /usr/ports/mail/evolution and /usr/ports/mail/ximian-connector) with "make deinstall", did a make distclean and re-ran make. With both of them (i.e. evolution and ximian-connector) make dies with the exact same message (libz.so.3 not found) as during the portupgrade. Has anybody else seen these problems? What can I do against them? I just noticed, that there is nothing under /usr/local/include/nss other than another nss subdirectory. Fixing this is trivial -- we are only installing nss headers -- but the impact on the dependant ports may not be. It is still desirable, though, IMHO... While at it, there is, probably, no need to make the libraries executable nor to strip them -- use INSTALL_DATA instead of INSTALL_PROGRAM.
