And it will go all week so it would be best to get in NOW. Company Profile Cantex Energy Corporation is an independent, managed risk, oil and gas exploration, development, and production company headquartered in San Antonio, Texas. Recent News Cantex Energy Corp. Announces Completion of the GPS Survey Today and the Mobilization of Seismic Crews for Big Canyon 2D Swath, Management would like to report The GPS surveying of our Big Canyon 2D Swath Geophysical program is being completed today. The crew that has been obtained to conduct the seismic survey (Quantum Geophysical) will be mobilizing May 30 (plus or minus 2 days) to the Big Canyon Prospect. It will take the crews about 3 to 4 days to get all the equipment (cable and geophones) laid out on the ground and then another day of testing so we should be in full production mode on or around the 4th or 5th of June. Once the first of three lines are shot we will then get data processed and report progress on a weekly basis. Cantex Energy Corp. Receiving Interest From the Industry as It Enters Next Phase of Development Cantex Energy Corp. (CTXE - News) is pleased to report the following on its Big Canyon Prospect in West Texas. Recent company announcements related to the acquisition of over 48,000 acres of a world-class prospect has captured the attention of many oil & gas industry experts and corporations, who have recently inquired into various participation opportunities ranging from sharing science technology to support findings or expertise to drill, operate and manage wells. Trace Maurin, President of Cantex, commented, "Although we are a small independent oil & gas company, we have a very unique 0pp0rtunity in one of the last under-explored world-class potential gas plays with no geopolitical risks and the industry is starting to take notice. As we prepare to prove up the various structures within our prospect later this month, we are increasing our efforts to communicate on our progress to our shareholders and investors. Our intention is to provide investors with a better understanding of the full potential of this prospect as we embark on the next phase of operations." Starting immediately the company will undertake CEO interviews, radio spots (which will be recorded and published on the company website), publication placements, introductions to small cap institutional investors and funds all in an effort to optimize market awareness and keep our shareholder well informed. GET IN NOW Happy memorial day Thick as a brick. Survival of the fittest. A rose is a rose is a rose. A weed is no more than a flower in disguise. To rule the mountains is to rule the river. Pull it up by the roots. Still waters run deep. Ugly as a mud fence. Stand your ground. A thing of beauty is a joy forever. You say potayto, I say potahto. To gild refined gold, to paint the lily. To rule the mountains is to rule the river. This is for the birds. Take time to smell the roses. Weed out. Rain, rain go away; come again some other day. Pull it up by the roots. Wrinkled as a prune. Stone cold sober. Wait and see. Under the weather. Spring rain, Fall gold. You have to separate the chaff from the wheat. This sounds like a problem with packages > lagging ports. > http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=97289 The port was marked as RESTRICTED on Tue Mar 15 04:35:01 2005 UTC because the GLIB library is on GPL License but the port was not configured to distribute the sources. See comments to cvs commit for the port's Makefile (revision 1.8): http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/cvsweb.cgi/ports/devel/linux-glib2/Makefile And from bsd.ports.mk: ----- # RESTRICTED - Prevent the distribution of distfiles and packages to # the FTP sites or on CDROM (e.g. forbidden by > # considerations). ----- After 6.1 was released an updated bsd.linux-rpm.mk along with new devel/linux-glib2 revision was introduced. Those restrictions no longer exists -- sources of GLIB are auto-fetched while building the port. Hence future releases will have the package. But not 6.0-RELEASE and 6.1-RELEASE, sorry. Seems that we may close the PR. Welcome Roman! The goal is to update from the current linux kernel version (2.4.x) to =20 2.6.x. This will allow us to update the default linux base to FC5 in =20 the future, which is not possible ATM. A detailed TODO list is =20 available from "http://wikitest.freebsd.org/RomanDivacky". The TODO =20 list contains a lot more items than what can be delivered in the SoC, =20 so don't be surprised if the SoC ends and the TODO list still contains =20 some unfinished items. I will commit milestones to current from time to time and announce =20 calls for help here accordingly. For each milestone we will need some =20 feedback from all of you how it works in your daily work. Additionaly =20 we may need some more specific reports about some behavior, but this =20 will be announced in the call for help. I hope a lot of testers will participate to let "our" student enjoy =20 his Summer of Code and make it an experience he will remember well for =20 a long time. If we do end up implementing the CPU affinity functions at some point, there are a number of landmines. In particular, there are at least three differnet APIs for them depending on the vendor. Presumably we'll want to implement what ever Red Hat does, but this is something to watch out for. The Open MPI project actually wrote a library for Linux so one binary can access all the APIs, it's rather evil. http://www.open-mpi.org/software/plpa/ -- Brooks --=20 Any statement of the form "X is the one, true Y" is FALSE. I took a look in the port directory and found the recommendation to disable ACPI and/or APIC. Unfortunately, doing either will cause my laptop (Acer Ferrari 4005WLMi) to freeze during boot. Does anyone have any suggestions for getting this to run? It runs perfectly under my installation of 6.0-RELEASE without disabling anything. I'd be happy to do any experimentation necessary to get this figured out. Thank you!
