I decided to update Apache-PHP-Mysql to the latest versions using packages as described in the handbook. I deleted the old php4.3.x version that comes with freebsd 5.4 So i set PACKAGESITE to ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports/i386/packages-5-stable/Latest/ It the new packages installed just fine. But when i started apache there was no php4 module for it. I checked in libexec dir and it really wasn't there. then i searched through the package php4-4.4.4_1 and again i found no php4 module for apache. So i checked the package in the packages-5.5-release which is php4-4.4.2_1.tbz and i found the module. For some reason it is missing in latest php4-4.4.4_1 package. Ok may be i'm doing somehting wrong. But if not i just want to let you know. >How-To-Repeat: >Fix: >Release-Note: >Audit-Trail: >Unformatted: From owner-freebsd-www@FreeBSD.ORG Tue Dec 5 09:52:18 2006 Return-Path: X-Original-To: freebsd-www@hub.freebsd.org Delivered-To: freebsd-www@hub.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.FreeBSD.org (mx1.freebsd.org [69.147.83.52]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 0C24216A417; Tue, 5 Dec 2006 09:52:18 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from remko@FreeBSD.org) Received: from freefall.freebsd.org (freefall.freebsd.org [69.147.83.40]) by mx1.FreeBSD.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 94B6143CA2; Tue, 5 Dec 2006 09:51:39 +0000 (GMT) (envelope-from remko@FreeBSD.org) Received: from freefall.freebsd.org (remko@localhost [127.0.0.1]) by freefall.freebsd.org (8.13.4/8.13.4) with ESMTP id kB59qH4H018730; Tue, 5 Dec 2006 09:52:17 GMT (envelope-from remko@freefall.freebsd.org) Received: (from remko@localhost) by freefall.freebsd.org (8.13.4/8.13.4/Submit) id kB59qHh9018726; Tue, 5 Dec 2006 09:52:17 GMT (envelope-from remko) Date: Tue, 5 Dec 2006 09:52:17 GMT From: Remko Lodder Message-Id: <200612050952.kB59qHh9018726@freefall.freebsd.org> To: remko@FreeBSD.org, freebsd-www@FreeBSD.org, freebsd-ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org Cc: Subject: Re: ports/106363: [php]: php4 package update missing apache module X-BeenThere: freebsd-www@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.5 Precedence: list List-Id: FreeBSD Project Webmasters List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Tue, 05 Dec 2006 09:52:18 -0000 Old Synopsis: php4 package update missing apache module New Synopsis: [php]: php4 package update missing apache module Responsible-Changed-From-To: freebsd-www->freebsd-ports-bugs Responsible-Changed-By: remko Responsible-Changed-When: Tue Dec 5 09:51:18 UTC 2006 Responsible-Changed-Why: This seems more like a Ports PR then something for the webmasters, reassign. http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=106363 From owner-freebsd-www@FreeBSD.ORG Tue Dec 5 10:58:33 2006 Return-Path: X-Original-To: freebsd-www@freebsd.org Delivered-To: freebsd-www@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.FreeBSD.org (mx1.freebsd.org [69.147.83.52]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 7300916A47E for ; Tue, 5 Dec 2006 10:58:33 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from p2334@www5.ready2host.de) Received: from www5.ready2host.de (www5.ready2host.de [85.10.198.229]) by mx1.FreeBSD.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 1689C43CAE for ; Tue, 5 Dec 2006 10:57:54 +0000 (GMT) (envelope-from p2334@www5.ready2host.de) Received: by www5.ready2host.de (Postfix, from userid 755) id 032341850; Tue, 5 Dec 2006 11:56:39 +0100 (CET) To: freebsd-www@freebsd.org From: HSBC Bank PLC. I'd like to submit the Greater Lansing Linux User Group for consideration. We don't have FreeBSD or Unix in our name because the founders of the group (who are no longer active members) only had exposure to Linux. However, we've grown a lot since then and give equal time to all forms of open source and free software. Without further ado: 1. A URL for the user group's website. http://gllug.org 2. An email contact address of a human in charge, for use by our visitors and website administrators. charles@bityard.net 3. A short (one paragraph) description of the user group. GLLUG is an organization for users of Linux, FreeBSD, and associated free software in Lansing, Michigan (USA) and the surrounding area. As with the organization at large, the weekly meetings are very informal. We talk about what we've been working on for the last few weeks and catch each other up with what's going on. Often there is an official topic proposed ahead of time on the mailing list, but sometimes we just discuss what's on our minds. >How-To-Repeat: >Fix: >Release-Note: >Audit-Trail: >Unformatted: From owner-freebsd-www@FreeBSD.ORG Wed Dec 6 04:44:22 2006 Return-Path: X-Original-To: freebsd-www@freebsd.org Delivered-To: freebsd-www@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.FreeBSD.org (mx1.freebsd.org [69.147.83.52]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 5D8B916A403 for ; Wed, 6 Dec 2006 04:44:22 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from kevchrsmi@gmail.com) Received: from nz-out-0102.google.com (nz-out-0506.google.com [64.233.162.236]) by mx1.FreeBSD.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id DB1F143CA3 for ; Wed, 6 Dec 2006 04:43:38 +0000 (GMT) (envelope-from kevchrsmi@gmail.com) Received: by nz-out-0102.google.com with SMTP id i11so67060nzh for ; Tue, 05 Dec 2006 20:44:21 -0800 (PST) DomainKey-Signature: a=rsa-sha1; q=dns; c=nofws; s=beta; d=gmail.com; h=received:message-id:date:from:to:subject:mime-version:content-type:content-transfer-encoding:content-disposition; b=VXajhai4Ev6R4PeQeqBhwC1BpUdu360jMwiAV4D4pfYLT+AsVI3byZFGnkI3M4oT62zyyXwE/2G33BcfHAvyxnXt/48nEkOnxHBBPy8NvAe98UW4BjtRN8S6FzRNY6zIHQAvOAJXKZftFXrYdpFhKX8VLdOv52enMEVArfjFRww= Received: by 10.65.219.16 with SMTP id w16mr567830qbq.1165380260348; Tue, 05 Dec 2006 20:44:20 -0800 (PST) Received: by 10.65.98.1 with HTTP; Tue, 5 Dec 2006 20:44:20 -0800 (PST) Message-ID: <39e47b4f0612052044u253d8c96web55b9bd26d46e82@mail.gmail.com> Date: Tue, 5 Dec 2006 23:44:20 -0500 From: "K.C.
