Mine is the latest available from x11-toolkits/linux-gtk2 -- the 2.6.10_4. This is a 7.1-STABLE/i386 system from Jan 6, 2009 -- it is too far from me physically to undertake a full upgrade. Its (non-technical) user wishes to be able to access YouTube videos, which requires Flash... Any advice? Something is really strange here. May be it's a language barrier. I'll try to rephrase. As you know there is a vulnerable package at linux-f10-pango port. In order to upgrade the port to non-vulnerable version we need a new non-vulnerable binary package for linux Fedora 10. If you know one, please give an URL. -- WBR, Boris Samorodov (bsam) Research Engineer, http://www.ipt.ru Telephone & Internet SP FreeBSD Committer, http://www.FreeBSD.org The Power To Serve From owner-freebsd-emulation@FreeBSD.ORG Wed May 5 11:11:05 2010 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-emulation@FreeBSD.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [69.147.83.52]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 57AE11065676 for ; Wed, 5 May 2010 11:11:05 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from clarity256@yahoo.com) Received: from web33805.mail.mud.yahoo.com (web33805.mail.mud.yahoo.com [209.191.69.168]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with SMTP id F250E8FC19 for ; Wed, 5 May 2010 11:11:04 +0000 (UTC) Received: (qmail 70479 invoked by uid 60001); 5 May 2010 11:11:04 -0000 DKIM-Signature: v=1; a=rsa-sha256; c=relaxed/relaxed; d=yahoo.com; s=s1024; t=1273057864; bh=S+QwU1iHLiSYPHcuWOj1J3jVBIRcfj/bfzVfyZnHJWs=; h=Message-ID:X-YMail-OSG:Received:X-Mailer:Date:From:Subject:To:Cc:MIME-Version:Content-Type; b=45KBApnfBhnq7aR/8pVPIRSyLQ4g53a7eIAJELZa07Z+Bc7isEOMGPPRptFkrRZucNpH7hATkn3SW82pXBq2xHLylOLI/8kZffVKuRRqpk91EGSvlPdS/V07xT0VglFRWMe9C4PUN4RmYMnpnSI2CxXHQsWJQa6LFWhg97bklLQ= DomainKey-Signature: a=rsa-sha1; q=dns; c=nofws; s=s1024; d=yahoo.com; h=Message-ID:X-YMail-OSG:Received:X-Mailer:Date:From:Subject:To:Cc:MIME-Version:Content-Type; b=qWOGK/ODituvvLw/5yF0mJZ+8muFbITgWqfO+Z4bhG41FUj/EaqbeiVBpEjpUhdgsW3VIyIAOsTlLhJCDfzHVN25KED6ymbXcnJg53iPDLXbuAyKQgzAOKgowPKRix4X99kpDR0DXjVGIhU/HD8eUdmKsKi14BIMKL8q8LSlYMU=; Message-ID: <330699.70260.qm@web33805.mail.mud.yahoo.com> X-YMail-OSG: WhO4IkYVM1mbXwTBYK8BNWk4Kr5Nkw5UZqFpBxOjwYReREN KK9.33X8NO1AVUAvX985NBC5WizWBkJNZqCoUPxStzpNU7tbP.TSx2c9rndT pfqF7omHQz38eLovIwMOfDbtQcteFHpl2m1FL1zP126KGxLt22xG59yeJ7jW VCV1bc3wc.XIi8OI7Sn_Kavi0gFg8xMaho6PZq5sJfLUI2s_LRo4MTEUwdq2 AyzQUCLyAOZd0Qurw7PGyujsRUimUgjOOyW80Ehm89bMuyCvV.Mmy_3y4.Tb 3Gj7HdMcd9Qk9VjFX8ZCdwVIkQdAR2A_xHrlG907GbgjTH8qSnQQPwfvLamz 6wpZckEsnO6Y- Received: from [93.96.2.223] by web33805.mail.mud.yahoo.com via HTTP; Wed, 05 May 2010 04:11:03 PDT X-Mailer: YahooMailClassic/10.1.11 YahooMailWebService/0.8.103.269680 Date: Wed, 5 May 2010 04:11:03 -0700 (PDT) From: Bring Joy To: Boris Samorodov MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Cc: freebsd-emulation@FreeBSD.org Subject: Re: x11-toolkits/linux-f10-pango update please X-BeenThere: freebsd-emulation@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.5 Precedence: list List-Id: Development of Emulators of other operating systems List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Wed, 05 May 2010 11:11:05 -0000 Hello, Thank you for the clarification. It really helped! A summary search suggests that linux pango was updated to 1.24 when linux fedora was at release 11, so one can find for example: http://s390pkgs.fedoraproject.org/packages/pango/1.24.4/1.fc11/src/pango-1.24.4-1.fc11.src.rpm Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find pango 1.24 for f10. In summary, if pango f11 cannot be used to update the current f10, it will have to wait until the entire linux emulation is updated to f11. Thank you! PS- I confess I did not understand what URL was asked for until this last message. I should have said so. Sorry.
