Not for me. I don't think emacs is particularly heavy on key-combos. It takes a while to get used to, but the smaller keyboard is not really a liability for doing key combos... Well, some keyboards only have a ctrl-key on one side, and the insert-, delete-, page-up-, and page-down-keys could be about anywere. I switch between a regular PC keyboard, a Sun keyboard, DELL notebook, and IBM notebook. That's asking for carpal tunnel. Personally, the built-in pointers on notebooks are what I find troublesome, although I miss a separate numeric pad. -- Crist J.
