Having done an import of "file" before, if we now have an active maintainer again, I would say use the supplied man pages, and forward any corrections to the maintainer. That is only if this version is really being maintained and available. I tried a few months ago to try and get a new version of "file" and could never get one from the ftp server -- for a month. Plus e-mail messages to the servers admin address listed in the ftp output, with no response. If we have a reliable source again, then I have no problem. -Mike -- Mike Pritchard mpp@FreeBSD.org or mpp@mppsystems.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe cvs-all" in the body of the message
