Hello.  I'm fairly new to = FreeBSD and=20 mysql, and I'm having some problems getting the above port = installed on my=20 FreeBSD 4.3 machine.  I made a post to the freebsd.misc newsgroup, = but=20 didn't get a response so I figured I'd send you an email.

Last week, I updated my ports tree = to get that=20 up to date.  I ran a "make" on the mysql323-server port and it = compiled fine.  If I do a "make install" it goes out and tries to = fetch=20 Msql-Msql-modules-1.2216.tar.gz, but, it never connects to a server, or = gets=20 undefined errors when trying to connect, and it never finishes.  = So, I=20 can't actually get the mysql323-server port to install.  I have the = mysql323-client port installed.

I was looking around the FreeBSD = site and=20 found a package called p5-Mysql-modules-1.2216.tgz, but no Msql-Msql=20 package.  Is the p5 package the same as the Msql package?  At = any=20 rate, if I try and do a pkg_add of the p5 package, I get an error = of "can't=20 find package mysql-client-3.23.40".  But, I do have package=20 mysql-client-3.23.41 installed.  So, I can't really figure that one = out=20 either.

So, I guess I'm wondering if you = have any=20 suggestions on how to go about getting the mysql323-server port = installed. =20 If you have any suggestions I would really appreciate it.  I = would=20 like to get mysql up and running.  Thanks.
