I am facing some strange issue with recognizing the wifi card on my ASUS K4= 0IN laptop. pciconf -lv shows me the following: none5@pci0:5:0:0: class=3D0x028000 card=3D0x10891a3b chip=3D0x002b168c rev= =3D0x01 hdr=3D0x00 vendor =3D 'Atheros Communications Inc.' class =3D network On wiki page http://wiki.freebsd.org/AsusEee#head-47f2e69f1dd87ec8920929cef= 682552933095ce6 there is the statement: Wireless Atheros 9285 (supported in 8.0 only?) class=3D0x028000 card=3D0x10= 891a3b chip=3D0x002b168c rev=3D0xc0 hdr=3D0x00=20 the only difference is in "rev" property - 0x01 !=3D 0xc0 The question is - is it possible to change something in the sources of kern= el so the card will be recognized? And can somebody please explain what I shou= ld to try out? Thank you in advance! --=20 Eugene N Dzhurinsky --LZvS9be/3tNcYl/X Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.12 (FreeBSD) iEYEARECAAYFAkrHMNkACgkQy/i/DoZLbHzRoQCcDA5DKgzByGKFzJtE86O2V+UF tbAAoLt06rHeEqnlqN6iORq7LAn/XsFE =ml7z -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --LZvS9be/3tNcYl/X--
