Nevertheless, in the interests of getting some feedback for you... I've just downloaded the latest snapshot (1005), and have encountered two problems. In the Express install sequence the decriptions of the commands at the bottom of the partition (not label) screen are not visible. I have tried this on a notebook with a VGA clone colour screen, and on a ald style MGA, with similar results. Also, when I get past this screen (by remebering the commands I used for a 2.0.5 install a few days ago), I am unable to complete a DOS partition install because the root.flp file cannot be found. The file does exists, in the c:\FREEBSD\FLOPPIES directory, as I think it should, but the install programs just can't find it. Cheers, Dieter. -- Dieter Jansen dieter@bronze.apana.org.au
