From /usr/src/UPDATING: 20000622: The license on the softupdates is now a standard 2 clause BSD license. You may need to remove your symbolic links that used to be required when updating. You'll notice that the actual files 'softdep.h' and 'ffs_softdep.c' are in /usr/src/sys/ufs/ffs. Read /usr/src/sys/ufs/ffs/README.softupdates for the new instructions on using soft updates.
