When prompted, enter visual (suggested) configuration. Under the Storage section, highlight the SOny CDROM and hit enter. Make sure the base address is correct. You may also want to check the settings for other devices such as ether cards and your SCSI controller while you're in there. Other than that, hit Q to quit and save you changes and continue with the install. I have the same CD here and have installed FBSD "MANY" times with it :) Mike On Fri, 19 Jul 1996, allan torrey wrote: > Any suggestions on installing FBSD to scsi hd via Sony's 33A CDROM 2x > (listed as supported), which has its own proprietary card? > > Thanks > Allan Torrey > > ~*-,._.,-*~'`^`'~*-,._.,-*~'`^`'~*-,._.,-*~'`^`'~*-,._.,-*~'`^`'~*-,._.,-*~ Syn-Work Media, Inc. | WWW Development & Hosting | Life Safety http://www.synwork.com | Systems Integration | CCTV mike@synwork.com | Voice/Data/Fiber | Access Control Flaq on IRC | Dukane Distributor | BICSI/RCDD ~*-,._.,-*~'`^`'~*-,._.,-*~'`^`'~*-,._.,-*~'`^`'~*-,._.,-*~'`^`'~*-,._.,-*~
