I am not quite sure, but I have seen the problem before. I have it on my list of things to look at when I get a good couple of days to sit down and hack some GNATS bits. One thing you might check is whether the machine that you send-pr'd from has a DNS-resolvable address. The return message may be bouncing because of a bad address.
