I tried to login using XDM, and I get the error in my .xsession-errors: Xlib: connection to "0:0" refused by server Xlib: Invalid MIT-MAGIC-COOKIE-1 key xterm Xt error: Can't open display: :0 My guess is this is because the cookie uses DES, and when I installed freebsd, I selected not to install DES.
