So i assume it locates it ok (i didn't specify them in the kernel config file). Also, an 'ifconfig ed1 inet 192.168.0.1' is done. (put in rc.conf) But now, when i try to telnet to it from another machine (local works fine) it cannot connect. Is there any way to test if the card is set up correctly? and if it is, what else could be wrong ? PS. even though i recompiled the kernel, i didn't change much in the config files thank you, FlorizzzZz v.
