Both machines are pentium systems running FreeBSD 2.1.6.1. Sound cards are PAS16 and PAS16D. I have tested systems with Realaudio 3.0 and cdd 1.0 pcmplay. Realaudio welcome.ra should last 12 seconds but it takes only 4 to play it. CD images recorded with cdd also plays to quick but under W95 Cool Edit these work fine.
