Message-ID: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII Sender: owner-questions@freebsd.org X-Loop: FreeBSD.org Precedence: bulk I had a failed install of 2.2-alpha and I want to determine what else needs to be done to get a working machine. So I can use it as a test machine to free up a machine with a ATAPI CROM so I can test that. (whew) I had a signal 11 failure (posted to bugs) in the EHS I see a kernel.GENERIC do I just need to copy this to kernel to get the machine to boot? what else might I need to do to get a functional machine? (ie what else would the install normally do? and where would I find this information?) thanks. ====================================================================== Jeremy Sigmon B.S.
