The only reference to ipfw updates I could find since the release of 4.0 is in the release notes for 4.3, viz: "...A bug in ipfw(8) and ip6fw(8) in which inbound TCP segments could incorrectly be treated as being part of an "established" connection has been fixed (see security advisory FreeBSD-SA-01:08)...."
