When CD-ROM is removed (TEAC CD-224E) computer is running without stops. Problem also occures with line-power use, but not so often. Computer is freezing for 10s According to a Linux FAQ this can be due to a not correct electrical implementation of the hardware (timing-problems). Also under DOS and Linux the machine freezes, but only for ca. .5s. There is something called "HeuristicPowerManagement" in the BIOS of this machine.
