Everytime the wind blows too hard power comes and goes....if its real bad it can go down for hours/days. and I live in a state not really known for wind problems. Just the long haul power lines are stretched a long ways between poles and the wind can invoke a safety mechanism that opens the curcuit in case power line if broke under the stress. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Doug Young" To: "Jason" ; "Jeremiah Gowdy" ; ; Sent: Tuesday, December 19, 2000 5:59 PM Subject: Re: Why do you support Yahoo! > Do you have power failures in yankeeland too ?? > > and here I was thinking they only happened in OZ !!!!!! > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Jason" > To: "Jeremiah Gowdy" ; ; > > Sent: Wednesday, December 20, 2000 2:48 PM > Subject: Re: Why do you support Yahoo! > > > > I stopped doing that when I formated my NT4 box for FreeBSD 3.3 :) > > Now I have more heair on my head and more time to pray for more improtant > > things....like having enough APC units to withstand the next inevidable > > power failure. > > > > ----- Original Message ----- > > From: "Jeremiah Gowdy" > > To: ; > > Sent: Tuesday, December 19, 2000 5:35 PM > > Subject: Re: Why do you support Yahoo! > > > > > > -sniped all the flames- > > > Like network operating systems have anything to do with > > > religion (unless you pray for your server to work) ;) > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org > > > with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message > > > > > > > > To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org > > with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message > > > > > > To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org > with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
