What is a good UPS that will work > with both FreeBSD 2-2-5-RELEASE and Win95? The APC SmartUPS series is supported by upsd. upsd is on your FreeBSD CDROM in /xperimnt. Upsd can probe the UPS for various data items and can shutdown the machine. I'm running this on a SmartUPS 600 and it works great. If you don't have a cd, check the -questions mail archives, someone maintains a US mirror.
