Any help appreciated :) Can you apply your diff to current and try again? I've made a lot of fixes to if_ed over the past few months. Usually the failure mode was that the NIC address would be wrong, but there were some failure modes where it would fail altogether. I've merged many of the changes, but not all just yet... Warner
