Writing a patch to change maintainer? In a nutshell: 1. Check upstream to see if there's no newer version. If there is, try to update the port. 2. Change MAINTAINER, indeed. 3. If you can, mirror the distfile and add your site to MASTER_SITES. 4. See if the port has been stagified yet. If the Makefile still contains NO_STAGE=3Dyes the port has not been stagified yet. In that case, it needs to be stagified asap. 5. Try to do as much testing as you can to see if there's anything else that needs to be done. Although a quick look suggests that this particular port appears to be in good shape. Thanks for offering to help out, AvW --=20 I'm not completely useless, I can be used as a bad example. --7AUc2qLy4jB3hD7Z Content-Type: application/pgp-signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.22 (FreeBSD) iQIcBAEBAgAGBQJTjce/AAoJEAfP7gJTaCe8ekgP/A0do6GlsmPKcK175w8xSNe0 rGRcVSe44u5zG/fHCm0Bmf7l35GuQxW6vrjCcC9qmxaq0/TiePwvE75h3yb+NyMT GollzFQcCtg1LXy3xbKYSPhAxfEuQioYH703+tS/EQmW48HZir7Q/vkZWIxMpZcJ Bqol6I5Lfe8XLaKw/7mYhJKYuMW5Jg0bayiBOKPh3Ik9c9oFuOdBvpq+zQQsXcfb xF2jwmljUECMeL1FvqgFDXbwzzcrxjeloJ3CnqSxbl4rTve0NOdf7s3wKvU1WRMJ YfCezQmdXyg5yih+6FSkIWk4waZAuE+wb96bwt8OzH9mJXjugEwZJFGb7tIqCMpH hrceohwC4AmOpm4S1oemshQxo90vCzjlnZwi2AlbqYMhCScLNZ2kPYvc4Y8Qdk9p 0KasKbIvTl8EJLjBj+UH0NRGUrIMbzaBMlHdvGRbtineIVDQnljKKGPRj8yuCRn6 ZJlIOay65UiAINS4IQjNUIaICZ+QBCl4d0hYCQdArxYQMxivknQT30aWyVXujsCd pPVT2foWh2Q4itmc2U3S5lBlKZBtWWdcKuX+iYDHJEpvXQaQsZoPrRFkfFGrueBI x855hodDNtagXbV23NDSErujML6UNMtBMgt32XyiNT+zHlMGc+4YVxmXZV+bIvIr +ruy+ii/ggJbtVZw0S7w =tQkL -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --7AUc2qLy4jB3hD7Z--
