Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Sender: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG Hello, I've got a development box where I'd like to do all the make buildworld / make buildkernel stuff plus building of the ports and therefore need a complete installation. However, I'd prefer to have only the parts needed for a server (so no make, cc, no includes, surely no sys-source, no ports, no manpages etc. BUT all the pkg utils) on my production webservers. Is there a way to do a make installworld from the development box (over NFS or samba)and limiting the installed stuff to that parts of the system that are really needed for the webservers?
