VT no such file? Message-ID: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII Sender: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG When ever I do `startx` I get this message, and i'm curious to what it is, and how to fix it. Couldn't open VT: No such file or directory Fatal server error: Failed to setup display. ^C Then I just ctrl-c it, and xinit gets the signal error 2.. I then looked into my kernel config, and forgot I didn't add options XSERVER # support for X server I'm not sure if this will make a diffirence or not, but could anyone tell me what i'm lacking?
