Another cause for this message is the misconfiguration of IRQ/DMA : check that the IRQ/DMA/port parameters probed during boot-up (output of 'dmesg') are the same as the ones you have in your kernel. Does your card actually work (ie : can you ping another host ?) Hpoes that helps TfH > When I start my system, I get this error message: > > ed0: device timeout > > Is this a hrdware or software problem? > > -- > Dima Dorfman (HellDragon on IRC) > > Microsoft: How long do you want to wait today? > > To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org > with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message > To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
