Seems it doesn't read those lines in rc. I even try to add the complete path in those lines in /etc/rc # Check the quotas (must be after ypbind if using NIS)[ "X${check_quotas}" = X"YES" ]; then echo -n 'checking quotas:' /usr/sbin/quotacheck -a echo ' done.' /usr/sbin/quotaon -a originally was # Check the quotas (must be after ypbind if using NIS)[ "X${check_quotas}" = X"YES" ]; then echo -n 'checking quotas:' quotacheck -a echo ' done.' quotaon -a Either way it's like they are not there... But I can assure you that the rc file is read... nfs mount, etc, etc messages appear I presently have quotaon -a in rc.local... but I would like to know why is this happening...
