My question is: is there any way to set the option '-a 4' in /etc/fstab? Or am I forced to mount the filesystems the manual way in /etc/rc.local? mount_nfs supports a number of options via -o, many of which it describes as "historic" and "deprecated", but they don't include something to set readahead as far as I can see. Thanks, Brian.
