I'm not quite sure what our response to the 2.2 -> 3.x upgrade path will be. At the moment, we're having more success with "do a binary upgrade", because the built upgrade path is littered with corpses. There'll definitely be some testing done, but I wouldn't want to commit to a prognosis at this point. I *definitely* feel that all of the upgrade stuff should be removed from the 3.1 branch as soon as the branch occurs. -- \\ Sometimes you're ahead, \\ Mike Smith \\ sometimes you're behind. \\ mike@smith.net.au \\ The race is long, and in the \\ msmith@freebsd.org \\ end it's only with yourself. \\ msmith@cdrom.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe cvs-all" in the body of the message
