I've gone through the motions to get VMware2 to work today. I installed it from the ports collection (cvsupped a few hours ago); then added "options COMPAT_LINUX" to my kernel; installed the linuxprocfs port from http://www.mindspring.com/~vsilyaev/vmware/.... now when i start it, I'm getting an error about "gethostbyname() failed". Any clue how i could resolve this? TIA. -Otter To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
