Hi,

I've here a dual itanium2 supermicro machine (chipset E8870) and I can't
install FreeBSD 5.3 because the booting get blocked after the first step
(after the kernel and modules are loaded and I press ENTER).

I've read that FreeBSD IA64 doesn't support VGA, then I've changed the
BIOS settings to boot with serial port, but I only get garbage.

Do you have experience with Supermicro IA64 + FreeBSD?

What can I do?
