Installing 3.0 on a system that has run 2.0, 2.1 and is running on = 2.2.1. Booting from the 3.0 floppy created from the 3.0 cdrom boot.flp = and goes to UserConfig, there is no INTERRUPT or PORT ADDRESS shown for = my 1542B Adaptec SCSI. I have down loaded a copy of the 3.0 boot.flp = from ftp.freebsd.org and had the same results. When using the 3.0 = boot.flp, I used the -c option and config to set the PORT to 0x330, IRQ = to 11 and DRQ to 5. The boot up still failed to find the Adaptec = controller. I have rebooted it from the 2.2.1 floppy and the SCSI shows up ok. I = also downloaded a 2.2.8 copy of boot.flp to try. The 2.2.8 boot floppy = also found the 1542 controller. I tried to use the 2.2.8 boot.flp by = changing the Release Name to 3.0-REAEASE. The loading errored out.
