Attempts to attach my old images to an md with mdconfig fail in exactly the same way as if I skipped "-s labels" in 4.7. The new mdconfig utility does not have a "labels" option but appears to need one. How has disk labeling changed in 5.0? Any way in 5.0 to get at the contents of my disk images? Will whatever has changed in 5.0 prevent me from moving a disk image labeled and newfs'ed in 5.0 to a 4.7 system? -- David Kelly N4HHE, dkelly@hiwaay.net ===================================================================== The human mind ordinarily operates at only ten percent of its capacity -- the rest is overhead for the operating system.
