	but SNAP-950412 only comes with 2.0; and the 2.0 revision works
	just fine with the maplay binary

	ln -s libg++.so.2.0 /usr/lib/libg++.so.3.0

	but that has some unfortunate side effects

	fix: rebuild maplay?  make libg++.so.3.0 available?
