More information, I've many problems running freebsd (tested 4.2 and 5.0), it seems there is a problem with the ide driver. I've got many files read or write corruption , on installation process (but also in multiuser mode: sync panic), directly with a dos partition but also with the cd image of 4.2 (wich I used already everywhere). I've tried to pass 80FF80FF on ide flags regarding a past post , and tried to decrease the cpu from 700 to 500Mhz (battery optmized bios option), it seems to have some impact cause sometimes I can install bin without crc errors ... There's maybe just an irq conflicts but can't figure where is it ... :/ thanks for your help. --W/nzBZO5zC0uMSeA Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Disposition: attachment; filename=conf avail memory = 121368576 (118524K bytes) Preloaded elf kernel "kernel" at 0xc04f8000.
