Had no problems, everything > went smooth. With that amount of ram I recommend KDE. I'm in a similar boat, using a P150/64MB for a month because Apple won't ship my 17" PowerBook. Under 5.0, Gnome was pretty gruesome. KDE is just about tolerable, though I'm still using about 60MB of swap with Konqueror, Kmail, and a terminal open. More ram would help more than more processor.
