I even tried it myself: # ls -lo kernel -r-xr-xr-x 1 root wheel schg 1483760 May 7 08:37 kernel* # chflags noschg kernel chflags: kernel: Operation not permitted I've never run into this before, and didn't find any references to it on the mailing list archives. Any thoughts/suggestions? Thanks in advance. ********************************************************* * Bryce Newall * Email: data@dreamhaven.org * * www.dreamhaven.org/~data * * "Computers make very fast, very accurate mistakes." * ********************************************************* To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
