Are these supposed to be in here??? Yes, if you are running kde and its appliations as root (some people would say you should not). User profiles, desktop configurations and all your files will be stored in the users - here: root's - home directory by default. Root is a privileged user, so he is placed in / . All others will be put into /usr/homes/ . Of course you can copy .kde's content to some other place on your harddisk and link it to .kde . Regards, Uli. ************************************ * P. U.
