Two other daemons I worked on at Y! are in p4 at //depot/user/jhb/raid/... that are similar to this but for other controllers. mptd monitors mpt(4) volumes and ard monitors ata-raid volumes (ard also manages rebuilds for ata- raid volumes since those need extra hand-holding). -- John Baldwin
