You need to recompile and install the new kernel as well. My own problem is with OpenSSH. The default one from the core system compile of make world no longer works. I had to disable it and use the ports tree version from /usr/ports/security/openssh. -- Scott ======================= Scott Raymond http://soundamerica.com ======================= > -----Original Message----- > From: owner-freebsd-security@FreeBSD.ORG > [mailto:owner-freebsd-security@FreeBSD.ORG]On Behalf Of Scott Hilton > Sent: Wednesday, January 24, 2001 3:15 PM > To: freebsd-security@freebsd.org > Subject: Problems with IPFW patch > > > Greetings, > > I'm running FreeBSD 4.2 and having some problems after > applying the latest > IPFW patch.
