I've been trying for hours to find out the exact controller (all it says in the specs pages is : "Integrated Adaptec Ultra2/Wide and Ultra/Wide SCSI controllers"). I searched the FreeBSD archives and found that the 2300 servers have Adaptec 7860 and 7890, both supported in 3.0. Any help would be appreciated, as I don't want to be stuck with a configuration in which FreeBSD won't run.
