My computer has an AMD K6-2 266 with 64 meg of RAM. The boot CD-ROM runs OK, and everything seems to be running right, but when I try to start the installation, sysinstall says "No CD-ROM device found". The CD-ROM is a Teac CD-512E with an IDE/ATAPI Inrerface. It's installed as a secondary master. The data transfer rate is 1,800 KB/sec sustained, 16.6 MB/sec burst. Access time is 160 msec, and the data buffer capacity is 128 KB. I would be very appreciative if you can help me with this. Regards, Michael G.
