I just did it from yet another box at work and it logged in almost immediately. This also happens to be the box hosting DNS for the domain it is in and I setup DNS so I know reverses work. What are the implications of disabling the reverse lookups (if I'm able to find that magic line of code)? With ftp since I'm sending data back to the client I shouldn't really be worried about someone spoofing their IP address, should I? It seems like the worst that would happen would be that I know the IP address that connected to the ftp server but not the machine name associated with it. Is that a correct assumption or do I need to get some rest and re-group? -steve To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
